Neon Highlights is a marketplace for youth basketball highlights. Independent videographers film games at travel tournaments and publish short vertical highlights. Families find their player, watch for free, and keep the ones worth keeping.
The problem we started with
At any weekend travel tournament there are eight courts running back-to-back games, and almost none of it is filmed well. A parent gets a shaky video from the bleachers, or nothing at all. Meanwhile the moment they actually wanted — the buzzer-beater, the first varsity-level block — is gone.
Professional coverage does exist, but it is priced for teams and programs, not for the family that wants one great ten-second highlight of their kid. We built Neon Highlights for that family, and for the people already sitting in the gym who could film it.
How it works

A videographer films the game
Independent videographers — often parents, aged-out players, or local film students — cover a court for the day using our capture app. A single tap marks a play while it happens, so they never look away from the game.

Every highlight gets tagged
After the game, the videographer trims each moment into a short vertical highlight and tags it by tournament, court, game, team, and jersey number.
- 03
Families find their player
A parent already knows the gym, the date, and their kid’s number, so finding a highlight is a quick filtered lookup rather than a catalog to scroll. Previews are free to watch and take no account — enough to know you have the right play, at lower resolution with our watermark.

The download is the good part
A full-quality, watermark-free file saved to your library — yours to keep and post straight to Instagram or TikTok.
How much does it cost?
Browsing and watching are free, and you don’t need an account for either — what you watch is a lower-resolution preview with our watermark. When you find a highlight worth keeping, you buy credits online and spend one credit to download it into your library — full capture resolution, no watermark, yours to keep and share.
The videographer who filmed it earns a share of every highlight sold. That is how the people in the gym get paid, and it is the only way we make money: no ads, no subscription.
We’re just getting started
Every kid who plays deserves a highlight reel. Right now the best moments of a Saturday morning mostly disappear the second they happen, and we think that is a fixable problem — not just for the top team on the top court, but for every player in the building.
